One of our best selling gabions, the 2m x 1m x 1m large gabion basket is one of the most popular cages on the market. The 2m gabion basket is best suited for civil engineering projects including large retaining walls & river erosion control.
The 2m can either be used as the length or the width depending on the configuration of the wall. The 2m gabion comes complete with a central diaphragm which improves the integrity of the unit as well as acting as a restraint against deformation of the face once filled. The mesh stone filled wall requires grade 6G stone 100 – 200mm in diameter. Manufactured from 75mm x 75mm (3″ x 3″) x 3mm galfan wire, and supplied pre-clipped and flat packed with 2.2mm galfan tying wire as standard.
